Disney Princess Designer Collection Polish Swatches and Review

Hi there =]!

So it seems as though you guys were just as excited about the Disney Princess polish as I was, yay =] You guys asked for swatches, so you get swatches! Heeeeere we go!

Mulan- 3 coats
A soft pink creme
This polish was a classic light pink polish, slightly streaky but a great classic look. This one is buildable, though, and after 3 coats I was satisfied with its opaqueness.

Jasmine- 2 coats with a few touch-ups on bald areas
Metallic teal with a slight shimmer
This totally fits the princess its named for! A gorgeous jewel-like teal that screams royal-ness =]

Snow White- From L to R- 1, 2, and 3 coats *flash used to show sparkles!*
Red micro glitter suspended in a clear base
Very cute glitter! I thought this would only be good as a topper, but after 3 coats it was opaque enough for me to wear by itself. I don't think I've seen many glitters like this one before. If you're a red gal, you'll love it!

Cinderella- From L to R- 1, 2, and 3 coats
Silver holo glitter suspended in a clear base
This is a glitter we've all seen before (i.e. China Glaze Fairy Dust), but I'll never be bored of it! This is also a great fit for the princess its named for =] Opaque after 3 coats.

 Cinderella's blurry holoness =P

Aurora- 3 coats *flash used to show duochrome!*
Hot pink shimmer with a blue flash
FAVORITE of this collection! I really love this duochrome...I think is also a jelly =]! Super shiny and squishy looking =P!

Ariel- 3 coats *flash used to show duochrome!*
Blue shimmer with a green flash
This one initially reminded me of OPI Catch Me In Your Net or Zoya Charla, I'll have to do a comparison soon. This one is probably a little different because of its interesting green flash. Pretty...but do a base coat, this one is stain-city!

Rapunzel- 2 coats
Red-tinted purple matte shimmer
I'm happy to see some different finishes in this collection! This finish is similar to Zoya's Matte Velvets because it dries matte with a subtle shimmer. Some mattes are tricky to work with since they dry fast, but I didn't have any problems with this one.

Belle- 3 coats
Deep antique gold
This is such a unique color! It reminds me of vintagey things, and I'm surprised how much I like it! It helps that Belle is my all time favorite princess ;D

Tiana- 4 coats
Iridescent green-blue
This is the sheer and streaky one of the bunch. I'm sad, because the color is gorgeous but I am NOT ok with 4 freaking coats! It still wasn't as opaque as I would have hoped. I might try layering with this one, though!

Pocahontas- 3 coats
Bronze with pink flash
I didn't think I'd be a fan of this since I've never tried bronzes or browns...but I really, really like this one! My mom used this for a pedi color and she loved it, too =]!

Wheeeeeew! That was a LOT of swatches, but I hope you all enjoyed them! Not everyone, run, don't walk, to your local Disney Store and get these, you will adooooore them! Unfortunately, they aren't online anymore...but my Disney Store said that the stores will continue to get shipments of these since they are really popular! Keep your eyes peeled!

So....which is YOUR favorite =]?

<3,
Lindsey
