Cute Peppermint Mani!

Hello Ladies and Gents!

LESS THAN A WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAAAAS! Are you excited? I sure am =]! Although, I can't stress enough how the holiday isn't about gifts or good food, but it's about the birth of Jesus Christ, the BEST gift of all! Take the time to be thankful for the things you have instead of wanting what you don't have =] Today, I have a cute peppermint mani to show you guys! I used 2 coats of SinfulColors Sugar Sugar as the red base and I used OPI Alpine Snow and SinfulColors Fashionista for the stripes. I warn you, I had an ever-so-slight fail with this mani...my Alpine Snow was getting really thick so I used thinner...which made it too thin and it tinted red when it went on my nail =P However, I think it still looks pretty cute! Mmmm...minty =P I have a craving for some candy canes now! The handmade ones at Disneyland are the BEST. Anyways, this was a fun mani to do! I followed this cutepolish tutorial...

 

I did mine slightly different (I only used glitter over a few of the stripes), but it still turned out well. On a side note...I've had a HECK of a time with the Weekly Nail Art Challenge this time around. I may end up postponing it another week or so since the holidays are here and I won't have as much time to devote to crazy nail art. I promise...I WILL conquer it though, I can't let it beat me =P Haha, have a great day!
