Soulstice Nail Colour Review- Nairobi & Provence!

Hey there!

I hope your day is going just swimmingly! It's FINALLY gotten cold here in Arizona (it's in the 40's! Can you believe it!!?!? =P) and I'm all bundled up while writing this...just finished my delicious Godiva dark chocolate hot cocoa, all time FAVORITE! Anywho, now that I've made you all jealous =P...today I have a review of a super awesome brand that I've never tried before, Soulstice Spa. They have many beauty products such as lotion, shower gel, shower scrub, and of course, nail polish! I've heard through the grapevine that this brand made some really fabulous colors and the formulas are AWESOME, but I was pleased to find out that this is also a vegan brand and they are cruelty-free as well as the big 3 free (no toluene, formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate). Also, can I just say that I LOVE that they name their polishes after cities!?!? Such a fun idea! If only they had Phoenix on there...I'd buy it =P Now, on to the pictures =]!

From L to R- Nairobi and Provence

Nairobi- Gilded bronze shimmer
2 coats
This is not a polish I'd normally choose for myself, but I was pleasantly surprised with how it looked on my skin tone- I think it was quite flattering for me and I ended up liking it! This coppery-bronze shimmer was pretty opaque and just like expected, the formula went on smooth like buttuh (er...butter =P)! Also, it was quite forgiving to my mistakes...I made an almost-devastating smudge right before I took pictures and a quick swipe of the brush fixed the problem with no effort at all!

Provence- Delicate lavender
2 coats
Be still my heart...this polish is so amazingly beautiful! I have such a soft spot for purples, but an even BIGGER soft spot when the purple has a super perfect, smooth application! At first it seemed a bit on the sheer side, but 2 coats ended up being the perfect opacity. This color dried really fast for me as well! That surprised me because I normally have trouble getting true creme polishes to dry completely...I will love this polish forever and ever and ever...you can expect to see this little guy again soon!

Final Verdict- Wow, Soulstice! You have an incredible product! Your names are adorable, your polishes are of GREAT quality, AND you are vegan, cruelty-free, and 3-free?! I am your newest convert =]! Now...make a polish named "Phoenix"" or "Chandler" to represent AZ and I'll be EVEN happier ;D They currently have 35 shades to choose from, you should see if YOUR city is in the collection =]! You can purchase their beautiful polishes for $8 each (minimum 3), click here to visit their site. To my moose-country friends (I say that with the utmost respect...I love our neighbors to the north =]!), they are also available at Nail Polish Canada for $8.50. Also, you can like their Facebook page my clicking here!

Have any of you tried Soulstice Colours? What colors are YOUR favorites?

Lindsey
