Hey there!
It's time for round 3 of.....
Hooray! This week, I chose a blogger who's talents have been so inspiring to me and so many others, Jacki of Adventures In Acetone! She does so many unique and AWESOME nail art techniques that I really could ramble on forever about the incredible things she's created! Wanna know just how she creates some of her art? Do not fear, little polishaholic, for she has several great tutorials to teach you how to make them on your own! Without further ado, I give you Miss Jacki =]!
1. Hello! Please introduce yourself and your fabulous blog.
Hi there, thank you so much for having me on your blog today, Lindsey! I'm Jacki, and my blog is Adventures In Acetone.
2. Give us a few key word that would describe your blog/blogging style.
My
blog mostly consists of nail art that I freehand or stamp (as well as
some tutorials for the more popular freehand art). I do swatches
occasionally but nail art is where my heart is.
3. What (or who) inspired you to create a blog of your own?
My
husband is a soldier in the US Army and was recently deployed to
Afghanistan for almost 6 months. I found I had a lot of extra time on my
hands after doing my nails and reading everyone else's blogs, so I
thought I'd give my own nail blog a shot. It was a great thing to keep
me busy while he was gone!
4. What has been your favorite mani thus far?
I
had a ton of fun on the 31 Day Nail Art challenge in September and
loved most of those manis. If I had to choose, I'd say my How To Train
Your Dragon nails for day 23. It's one of our favorite movies (my
daughter, Hailey, is 3 1/2) and I love how they turned out.

5. Do you have a favorite polish brand?
I
own and love more OPIs than other brands but I cherish the handful of
Ozotics I have more than anything and can't wait to add some more to my
collection.
6. What is THE most beloved polish in your stash?
Oh
man, this is a hard one! Following my last question's answer, I think
I'll have to go with Ozotic Elytra 528. It's a gorgeous multichrome
glitter!
7. What blogs are your favorites and what do you like about them?
Well,
I do believe I have almost 200 blogs on my dashboard that I try to keep
up with so this is another hard one! There are a few standouts that I
can probably list:
Chalkboard Nails: Sarah takes incredible
pictures of her nails and does some awesome nail art. I love the color
combinations she tries!
rebecca likes nails: my very first
blog post was a recreation of one of Rebecca's gradient+stamp designs! I
am often inspired by her nail art and her stamp gradient tutorial was
so helpful to the newbie I was at the time!
Nails By Kayla Shevonne: Kayla also has some amazing nail art and tutorials that
I've often tried myself. She has gorgeous nails and nail art posts.
Kayla was kind enough to showcase my blog on her blog a few months ago!
The Trace Face Philes: Traci almost always has a swatch of a color that I'm
looking for when deciding to buy a new polish or not! She was one of
the first blogs I started following!
Loodie Loodie Loodie: she has some amazing and informational blog posts about proper
nail care and had an interesting scientific approach to topics. Have you
tried to make your own "Zoya +remove" polish remover? She has a
tutorial and I've tried and loved it!
8. Any parting words for us =]?
I
can't thank you enough for inviting me for your blogger spotlight!
Thank you all for taking the time to get to know me and I hope you will
find something you like over at my blog. Keep painting! :)
Thank you so much, Miss Jacki, for sharing you talents with us! Now, for a few of my personal favorite manis of hers...
