OPI Midnight Blue Glitter!

Hello there =]!

I have a lovely swatch of an old OPI today, Midnight Blue Glitter! I found out that this polish is from the 2004 Tuxedo Collection in which OPI also promoted the classic Black Onyx and Alpine Snow (thanks Body and Soul!). In the polish world, this is an ooooldie, and I can tell from more than the black label on the bottom....it REEKS of scary, murderous chemicals! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *ahem* Sorry about that...moving right along...considering that I use primarily 3 free products, I figure the occasional use of polish with scary things inside won't kill me =P It's just too pretty to NOT wear =]! See for yourself...

An oldie...but CERTAINLY a goodie! This gunmetal shimmer base was packed with pretty royal blue shimmers that even seemed purple in certain lighting. I'll admit, this lil guy was SHEER! I had to do 4 coats to reach this opacity, but I didn't have any issues with drying or anything. I'll have to try some layering experiments with this...perhaps over black or purple? Until next time =]!

  4. I love the unusual color and I don't mind that it's the old version and I would also like to see it layered over different base
