Spring Spun Sugar!

Helloooo =]!

I have quick little post for you guys today about a new technique I came across. After being inspired by this mani and then tracing it back to this tutorial, I thought I'd give this spun sugar looking technique a try =]! I used Essence Mellow Yellow as the base and Essence Dress For A Moment, OPI Whats With The Cattitude?, and Zoya Bela for the stripes =] Check it out!

Please, mind the bubbles from my topcoat...-_- ugh.

I just love this technique! I was super easy to do and I think it's perfect for spring...I could totally do this closer to Easter to mimic that plastic grass in Easter baskets =P! Anywho, thanks for stopping by, have a GREAT weekend =]!

    1. Not really, there was a little bit of cleaning to do, but the little strings of polish were pretty much dry before they landed on my cuticles. A quick swipe of a acetone soaked qtip did the trick =]!

  9. I love this. It seemed like in the video tutorial the polish was "sticky"; did you have to use a thicker polish?
