It's April!? Whaaaaat!? It crazy how fast time flies...I hope your month is off to a good start! Mine is a little iffy because I was hit my a truck while riding my bike to campus today =/ I'm ok, just a little sore and a little bruised. The BEST part was the fact that it was a hit and run =[ People absolutely amaze me sometimes with the crazy things they do...but honestly, it's just the world we live in. It's only by the grace of God that I am here, in one piece, to tell you all what happened! I am SO thankful that nobody was seriously hurt!

Full Spectrum
"Baby pink bursts

This slightly-duochromey silver/pink is really pretty =]! The duochrome effect isn't super strong in this one; silver is the most visible while pink can be seen in the shade. It had a decently opaque formula and applied very nicely. Out of the three I have to show you, this is my least favorite of the bunch because I usually like a little more color to my polishes. This is sure to tickle someones fancy, though =]!
Liquid Crystal
"Bright blue
holographic with purple tint dusted with silver, gold, green, pink and orange"
2 coats
Is it purple, is it blue!?!? I don't know because it is constantly changing! My pictures mostly captured the lovely blue that often comes out to play, but don't be fooled! This one has the strongest color shift out of the three. It was perfectly opaque after 2 coats and dried super fast. I love this one =]!
Prism
"Grape purple holographic gleams with pink shimmer and glitters with
pieces of pink, blue, green, orange, silver and gold"

FAVORITE ALERT! I love this purple/pink stunner! Like Full Spectrum, the color shift is there but not -super- strong...you can see the pink mainly in lower lighting. However, my favorite part of this polish is the gorgeous lavender color it tends to be most of the time =] I can't get enough of purples, especially glittery ones =P!
I swatched 1 coat of each over black...it really helps you see the true colors =]
I know some people aren't too fond of these, but I really like them! I especially love how they look over darker colors...I'll have to try these again really soon, I'll experiment with base colors =]!

OMG I am glad you are alright, that is so scary! A friend's sister was also hit by a car on campus in a hit and run a few years back. There are just no words for some people.

ReplyDeleteSecond, I love your swatches! I've looked at these a couple of times at Sally's, but they don't look great in the bottle, so I've left them there. After seeing them on the nail, I'm just going to have to pick one :-)
Oh my gosh! I'm glad you're okay too. I hope you at least filed a police report...you never know when something else will happen that might connect the truck driver to your accident.
ReplyDeleteI got hit by a cyclist while trying to cross the road at night. He blamed me (said I didn't look) and I was too in shock to get the police.
