OPI Swimsuit...Nailed It! with HITS Zeus!

Hey there!

I'm baaaack =]! I'm sorry for my short absence, but I hope you can understand needing to take it after being hit by a truck =P! I'm still doing ok (aside from a few aches and pains), my body has just needed a few days to rest. What better way to return than with a layered holo mani =]? I used 2 coats of OPI Swimsuit...Nailed It! and topped it with a thin, careful coat of HITS Zeus. I was trying to make a look similar to OPI DS Glamour, and although it isn't spot on (or even close, really =P), I was still happy with it! Take a look =]!

 

I got one good shot outside just as the sun was going down. The holo and the deep blue would be way more visible in brighter sunlight!

 

The rest of my shots are indoors and under my daylight lamp with flash (it helped my camera detect ALL the holo-y colors!)

 

 

There you have it! I love this smokey blue mani, I just wish I could have taken pictures in natural, bright sunlight! I guess I'll be revisiting this combo someday...

By the way, I don't think I told you guys but I went on a no-buy for Lent. Hoooowever...I did allow myself to swap and participate in a gift exchange as long as I didn't use any of the polishes before Easter. That being said...I've acquired a TON of new pretties that have remained untried. After Easter, you can expect to see a BUNCH of new swatches =]! Have an opinion about what I should swatch first?
