Long time no see, eh?
Ugh. I'm so sorry I disappeared off the face of the earth this week! I've been working and going to summer school so I'm just trying to figure out this new crazy schedule, I hope you forgive me! Also, I experienced a "blogger's block" of sorts (similar to writer's block...I couldn't for the life of me decide what I wanted to blog about!) and I was feeling completely uninspired. Thankfully, an awesome review package courtesy of It's So Easy Nails came in and has gotten me out of my slump! Today, I'll be reviewing a set of their easy-to-use Stripe Rite polishes. These "create detailed custom designs with the precise striper brush."
For this review, I've created 3 different and fun manis to showcase 14 of their cool striping polishes. Unfortunately, these don't seem to have any specific names on the bottle, only product numbers. However, I was able to use those to find the product names on the website =]! Now, on the the manis!
Neon group L to R - Hot Purple, Hot Green, Hot Orange, Yellow, and Hot Pink
Base color - SinfulColors Snow Me White
I loved the variety of this mani! I made a mistake, though...I should have known that, like most neons, these weren't completely opaque or good for layering. Notice the odd combo of purple and yellow on my middle nail =P
Cremes and Glitters from L to R - White, Silver, Gold, Lilac, and Black
Base color - OPI Pink Flamenco
I think this mani was my favorite of the bunch...black and white are just so classic and lovely =]!
Metallic and Glitter from L to R - Silver Metal, Gold Holographic, Steel, and Silver Holographic
Base color - Bettina Aqua
Loving Steel in this mani...it looks like a striping version of Butter London The Black Knight with it's pink, purple, and blue holographic glitters!
Whew, that was a lot of polishes =P! These were all so easy to use, striping polish is an absolute necessity for me as a polishaholic! Seriously, what CAN'T you do with these?! A few of these were on the thick side, but thinner can save the day! Also, even through the gold holographic was really pretty and unique, it seemed to tinge the rest of my nail sort of yellow when I added top coat...like the gold was bleeding into the rest of my nail. Other than that, I'm loving this product! I'm all for anything that makes my nail art easier to do =P!
