Zoya Fall 2012 Gloss Collection - Swatches and Review!

Hey there!

As promised, here is the next installment of my Zoya Fall swatches - the Gloss Collection! Three gorgeous jelly polishes are sheer at first, but all have buildable formulas that allow them to become opaque. I love me some jellies (who doesn't?!), so I was especially excited for these. On to the swatches!

Here's another photo collage for you pinners =]!

Katherine
"Sheer eggplant jelly gloss, buildable formula"
4 coats
This one looks reminds me of raisins...and to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of those =P The formula was a little prone to dragging, although it did become much smoother and easier to work with after each coat. It took 4 coats for me to be happy with the opacity, but each one dried quickly and it was sort of expected considering it has a jelly finish. This polish just is not for me, but I know someone out there can proudly rock this color!

Frida
"Sheer teal blue jelly gloss, buildable formula"
4 coats
Um, hello gorgeous! This lovely teal was some MAJOR eye candy for this girl! It's slightly more sheer than Katherine, but I didn't experience as much dragging or bald spots. For some reason it reminds me of gemstones...not sure which one, but the word "jewel" kept coming to mind =P Perhaps this is a shade Princess Jasmine would be found wearing =]? It wouldn't surprise me, it's absolutely royal!

Paloma
"Sheer berry red jelly gloss, buildable formula"
3 coats
Hey, this one is more opaque than the others! Hooray for a 3 coater jelly polish =P! My camera tried to warp it's true hot pink/magenta color, but I think this picture came out pretty dang close to how it is in person. If anything, it would be slightly more purple. I didn't experience any formula problems, thank goodness =] I don't have the polish to compare, but it seems like it may be similar to OPI Do You Think I'm Tex-y...feel free to share if you have both polishes and would like to compare!

Kudos to Zoya once more for another fabulous collection =]! Now...if they could come out with some pastel jellies next spring, my life would be complete =P! Please, feel free to name the purple one Lindsey ;D

You can purchase these and other fashion forward shades at www.zoya.com for $8 each. Also, be sure to check out their Facebook page!

Have an awesome day, guys!

Lindsey
