I've been hearing great and wonderful things about NCLA for a while now and I finally had the opportunity to give this semi-new brand a try! I must say, I'm loving that this company is based out of the West Coast. They keep the fast paced, fashion forward L.A. lifestyle in mind while designing and naming all of their products. Today, I have a fun mani featuring Poolside Party, All Eyes On Me! This pastel orange creme looks EXACTLY like Circus Peanuts to me (You know, the candy. I love those things) and to be honest, I wasn't completely sold on the color when I saw it in the bottle. But on the nail, I was pleasantly surprised =]! You'll also notice I added a spun sugar accent nail using China Glaze Happy Go Lucky. See for yourself!
I thought I wasn't going to like this color with my skin tone AT ALL, but I think it actually worked for me! Never have I found such a cute orange! Sadly, I wasn't a huge fan of this formula...it was sort of thick and didn't dry incredibly fast. Darn pastels!!! They're so gorgeous, but their formulas are always so wonky! Boo. Anyway, it certainly wasn't the worst formula I've ever worn so it isn't enough to make me shy away from the brand. After all, it's the color that matters most to me, and I happened to really like it =]!
You can purchase NCLA polishes here for $16 a bottle. They also sell really unique nail wraps that come in a bunch of vibrant colors and patterns (I've only seen them, I haven't tried them myself. I've heard good things, though.), so be sure to out the site. Also, go like their Facebook Page here!
