Horizontal Glitter Stripe Gradient!

Hi there!

Just a quick post for you today, I'm off to school in a little bit =]! I've recently picked up some of the newer Essie polishes (one I received from a Klout perk) and decided to try my hand at another striping tape gradient! My first one was really cute and I loved the asymmetrical look, but this time I decided to create a horizontal, uniform look. I used Essie Recessionista and Beyond Cozy (both polishes I am LOVING!) for this perfect Fall mani, check it out!

I seriously love this mani! These colors complement each other so nicely...I'm a little obsessed with Beyond Cozy. Essie has really stepped up their game with the recent Winter collection! I also purchased Where's My Chauffeur, so you can expect to see that one the blog very soon =] Any combo's you'd like to see with that gorgeous aqua?

Have a fabulous day =]!

  1. This is so pretty! Great gradient and color combo!

  2. What a fab twist on the standard gradient, love it! :)

  3. So cute! I really need to get my hands on some striping tape to recreate this!

  4. This is gorgeous!! great job!!

  5. Ok...this is an odd comparison, but once you think about it, I think you'll agree. You know how some steps have grip tape along the edges so people don't fall as they're walking down? And how that grip tape gets worn away over time? That's what this looks like! But shiiiiiny!

  6. This looks great! I did not pick up Recessionista as I was sure I had a few OPIs that were really close to that shade in my stash. I did pick up Beyond Cozy and it really has surprised me how much I love it - it's almost opaque in one passing - and the major micro silver glitter is really lovely. I thought I might put a shimmer over my toe shade I have on now (NOPI Busta Mava) and I picked up Beyond Cozy as it was close by without me digging for another topper - oops - Beyond Cozy really did cover up my base and I had silver toes! I think it's going to be my new pewter silver shade to use for tipping my fingers off with - it helps me from getting that tip wear when I do them in a glitter. Hopefully this one is not too hard to get off...will see I think I have about 6 coats on my toes now - ugh!

I love hearing your feedback, so please, don't be shy =]!
