I change my polish a lot. A LOT. It's rare that I keep the same mani for more than a day and a half, and I'm sure many of you are right along there with me. With that knowledge, you KNOW a mani must really be awesome if I never want to take it off! Seriously, I wish I could immortalize this one, it's so me! In honor of National Cotton Candy Day, I created this cotton candy inspired look. It's a little bit abstract, but it's the most perfect pastel mani I've worn in a while. I'm completely in love with it if you couldn't tell by the way I'm talking about it =]! I used Lime Crime Parfait Day, Zoya Lara, SinfulColors Snow Me White, OPI What's With The Cattitude (man, I need another bottle of this...I'm running out!), and GOSH Blue Balloon. Prepare yourself for the coming adorableness...
I used a spongy eyeshadow applicator to create the fluffy looking, sugar-crystal-like designs and my ring finger is meant to look like the striped cones that cotton candy is often served on =]
How do you feel about this look? As previously mentioned...I adore it. Not only because of the colors and design, but because I'm obsessed with cotton candy! I had a professional grade cotton candy machine at my 18th birthday party, I buy some almost every time I see it (especially if it's freshly made), I flipped my lid last year when Disneyland/California Adventure served light-up cotton candy at World of Color, and I even have my own cotton candy machine and flossing sugar. Yummy =]! Now I have a craving to go make some...

ReplyDeleteVery cute. I am also glad to hear that I am not the only person who changes nail polish so often! Even if I love a manicure that I have done it only stays on for two or three days. If I mess it up, I do that a lot, then it comes right off. I am totally jealous of your cotton candy nails AND you cotton candy machine!
