Geometric Challenge Day 1 - Square!

Hello everyone, and welcome to an exciting day in Neverland =]!

Today marks the beginning of a super fun challenge dreamt up by the lovely Stephanie of Sincerely Stephanie, the Geometric Nail Art Challenge! Major kudos to her for organizing this whole thing =]!

For the next few weeks, me and several other incredible bloggers (seriously, I have MAJOR blog crushes on each and every one of these girlies!) will be posting a new challenge mani every 3 days. Each day's theme represents something geometric or shapely, which I absolutely LOVE to portray in nail art! Today's theme, square, is a great way to kick-start the fun! I had the urge to go pretty colorful and bright, I hope you don't mind =] I created an itty bitty stacked square look using Wet N Wild Black Crème, SinfulColors Snow Me White, Lime Crime Lavendairy, OPI Ogre The Top Blue, Lime Crime Pastelchio, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, and Zoya Lara. Check it out, folks!

What are your thoughts on this design? I was a little bummed that it turned out a little messy...scratch that, we'll call it "abstract" ;D Either way, I loved the colors I chose and they are ultimately what made this design fun for me!

Please head over to these other amazing blogs to see more square inspired nails!

Have an awesome day!

♥,
Lindsey

  3. Ohh, I really like the bright colors over the black like Brittney said! Painting tiny squares like that is really difficult though and cameras pick up every little flaw, I think these look amazing!
